It's the longest day and the lion with his back to the north is pretty pleased at being up so late.

The sky is still bright.

Even the sun doesn't want to go to bed.

The sunlight lingers on the leaf litter.

But after the longest day, the heaviest rain. Elsewhere floods; in Melin y Coed the water turns to milk - or something.

This month has seen the highest June rainfall since records began.
